University of Kyrenia education and training foundations were established with the missions of raising graduates who can think objectively, question, research, produce knowledge and value, attach importance to ethical and moral values, and have a sense of social responsibility, with an international educational infrastructure”. The infrastructure is based on a 35-year experience formed from the first Maltime University in 1978. (Turkish: Girne Üniversitesi) was the first university in Northern Cyprus to engage the students in maritime studies and was started in 2013.There are now 12 faculties, 3 vocational schools, 3 graduate schools and an academy, in total 58 programs. University of Kyrenia has become an outstanding university in the region in a short time span. Faculties in the school include Faculties of Education, Law, Economics, Architecture, Engineering, Health Sciences and Medicine were established in our university, which grows every year. The university has a total of 63 undergraduate - associate degree - master's and doctorate programs from 3 Institutes, 14 Faculties, 2 Schools, 4 Vocational Schools affiliated to YOK / YODAK, as of 2019-2020 academic year, and in English and Turkish languages. It provides education and contributes to the development of our country and region by training, teaching and researching with its planned new programs.
